May 28, 2019 (May 29, 2019) admin

For a few weeks my fasting blood sugar will be between 100-127. my spikes after meals will go over 200. it takes about four hours after a meal for me to return to my pre-meal state of 100-127. then, suddenly, my fasting levels will be 56-72 each morning.. Eating a varied, nutritious diet is beneficial for everyone, but is especially important for people with diabetes. in this article, learn which foods can help keep blood sugar levels in check. We saw last week with the biggest loser study that basal metabolism plummets when you lose weight with calorie reduction. as contestants lose weight, they burn a lot less energy – up to 800 calories per day less than before. some of that is expected, since there is less body tissue to maintain, but nevertheless, these contestants burn far less than expected even taking this into account..

Hi dr. jason fung, thanks for your publication. im 32 years old and i have been fasting for about 1 year. i eat only vegetable which grows above the ground, eat dairy products (real ones), cook with coconut oil or butter and the only high glycemic food i eat is on the breakfast (1 small banana).. Your blood sugar levels are a critical part of your overall health and your body’s ability to function properly on a daily basis. for those of us with diabetes, striving to achieve “normal” blood sugar levels is a constant, hour-by-hour pursuit.. Bernard, it is quite simple, food (and especially carbs) bind water to your body (in the intestines, in the blood flow, in the muscles), i’d say between 1-3kg water, and when you fast there is nothing that can hold on to the water in your body so it is released out..

For the hyperglycaemia argument, micheal has told me he’s consistently seen his blood glucose elevated on the diet- as well as lots of n=1 comments around the internet and on the article i linked at the beginning.. I came across the article i posted on the abc homeopathy forum where i reported the first instance where a type i diabetic informed me that his blood sugar levels had dropped suddenly in a manner that seemed to be mysterious with a few hours of his taking arnica 6c which i prescribed for a non healing wound on his foot..
